The featured song from the new Forenzics album SHADES AND ECHOES (also out today) is the delightful duet “Unlikely Friend” with guest vocalist Megan Washington joining Tim Finn and Eddie Rayner.
New Zealand singer-songwriter BRIAN BAKER, is celebrating the release of his video for latest single, EVERYWHERE YOU GO. A wonderfully laid-back, harmonious and heart-felt tune, ‘Everywhere You Go’ deals with feelings of separation, COVID-related or otherwise - and that while we are unable to hold our loved ones, or be in their physical presence, we can still hold them in our hearts and minds. Soulful singer songwriter William ‘MiN’ Morrison delivers his third original song “The Good Life” The soul-tinged ballad is one of a selection of recordings MiN created pre-Covid having discovered a desire to develop his skills as a singer and songwriter.
The 25 year old musician had already chalked up several years as a professional musician touring the world as the guitarist in his father’s jazz quartet. During that time MiN was composing many original tunes that the quartet performed and recorded including, at an all-night session at Abbey Road Studios in London that became the AIR Awards nominated album ‘Midnight To Dawn’. “The Good Life” displays a lush arrangement recorded and mixed at Capitol Studios in Los Angeles with producer Willie Murillo. The song includes a guest appearance from James Morrison on trumpet solo. “The Good Life” is the third of five songs recorded as part of the LA sessions. Following the release of this song the five songs will appear as an EP. Meanwhile, MiN has used the lockdown time to write and develop many more new original songs he has tried out via weekly on line live streamed acoustic performances on his the.Life.of.MiN Facebook page. In place of real live gigs these ‘Sunday Sessions’ have helped MiN develop his songs and his performance skills as well as continue to build more followers of his music. “THE GOOD LIFE” - released today, Friday October 22nd, across all streaming services worldwide. |
