Dylan Mitchell Frost was born in 1992 on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. With guidance from his father, Garry Frost OAM (Moving Pictures, 1927), Dylan has honed his songwriting skills since the age of 5, when he started bashing away at the household piano. Now the owner and proprietor of Frost Studios, which specializes in providing top-quality composition, production and post-production services for the film, TV, and online industries, his work has helped prominent brands such as Sonos, Ducati, Disney, The NRL, Red Bull, Surfline, Destination NSW, and more in achieving their audio goals.
An accomplished composer, Dylan has garnered multiple accolades and was shortlisted for Best Song in the Australian Songwriting Awards when he was 17. His composing skills have left an indelible mark, contributing to the success of award-winning short films such as “A Corner of the Earth” and its hugely popular sequel, “Corners of the Earth – Kamchatka”.
Dylan is also a member of Sydney indie-rock outfit MARVELL, where he plays bass guitar and contributes to song-writing duties with the other 4 bandmates. MARVELL have supported artists such as Ocean Alley , Lime Cordiale, Spacey Jane, The Grogans, Sons Of The East, Mental As Anything and Moving Pictures, and are set to release their debut album in 2024.
Outside of the studio, Dylan enjoys surfing, performing live shows with MARVELL, and staying up-to-date with the latest TV shows and pop-culture references.
