Timothy Nelson (WA) is a multi-award-winning singer/songwriter whose 2016 album 'Words Like Young' was hailed by TheMusic.com.au as a “brilliant solo debut” and Rolling Stone as “a wonderfully personal, yet inviting release”. Fusing clever lyricism with unforgettable hooks and blending 70s folk rock with 90s power pop, Nelson has a reputation for creating earworms. He has also co-written singles for country artist Siobhan Cotchin, Melbourne soul singer WILSN, and hip hop legend Drapht. With his impressive 6-piece band, stacked with guitars and backing vocalists, he has opened for acts like Parquet Courts (US), Drugdealer (US) and Ron Sexsmith (CAN).
