Evocative, distinctive and nuanced, Sunny Amoreena’s songs cut like a knife.
Refreshingly unafraid to explore deep vulnerability, her gift for articulating the personal is compelling and immensely up-lifting. Describing music as her lifeline while overcoming a childhood accident and its aftermath of illness and isolation, Amoreena’s writing comes from a truly unique perspective. Sunny’s debut album, “Check for Wolves” released in 2014, recorded in Sydney and Los Angeles with musical partner Don Miller Robinson and American musical luminaries Van Dyke Parks, Patrick Warren, David Piltch and Greg Leisz.
International Independent Music Awards finalist for Best Adult Contemporary Album.
“City of Lights” featured in Channel 10’s “Wonderland” Series and was licensed to Universal for the show’s subsequent soundtrack.
Her recent 4-track EP “Tightrope” released mid 2016, was recorded in Albert Studios featuring Hamish Stuart, Stu Hunter and James Greening.
“Tightrope” is the first of three EPs to be followed by a live album.
Sunny is currently performing nationally and internationally.
Her live show incorporates song, narrative and videography projection to take the audience on a truly unique and fully immersive journey.
