OMP welcomes Melbourne based sound designer, musician, film maker and digital image artist Scribbletronics (Peter Miller) to the roster. Peter is a graduate of the Australian Film, Television and Radio School and has been professionally practising his craft for over 40 years. Peter’s professional credits include sound design for The Ring, Rango, Adoration, In the Cut and Mad Max: Fury Road, and art direction for numerous music clips including Crowded House’s Don’t Dream It’s Over and INXS’ Kiss the Dirt (Falling Down the Mountain).
He has done the music composition for many high-profile commercials including his multi-award winning jingle for Schwarzkopf, while his original ambient sound work Strangeness + Charm was commissioned by Qantas for their Sydney First Class Lounge. All of Peter’s recorded works will be re-released by ORiGiN Music along with further previously un-released works and new creative initiatives. OMP are proud to be representing the wildly creative catalogue of Peter Miller.
Peter has recently digitally re-released his soundtrack for ‘Spirits of the Air, Gremlins of the Clouds [30th Anniversary Edition]’. The soundtrack is available on all major streaming services, and the original music video for the track ‘Spirits Song’ can be seen below. The video was made by Meaningful Eye Contact after completion of the filming of the feature film, on a remote landscape outside of Broken Hill in the far western desert scape of NSW. The video includes cameos from the actors who feature in the film, as well as the then members of the Meaningful Eye Contact production team.
